Our special anniversary zoovenir mugs have arrived in stock and we reserved the first one for the talented young designer himself!
Jenson Hodges, from Wolverhampton, was judged the winner of our children’s mug competition, after impressing judges with his colourful artwork, which features a variety of animals found on site, the 11th century Dudley Castle, complete with an 80th flag flying atop, as well as the iconic Tecton entrance.
We invited the 12 year-old to the zoo to receive a free mug, printed with his name and design, before he enjoyed a complimentary trip around the 40-acre site with his family.
Retail Manager Isobel Blackwell, said: “It was a pleasure to welcome Jenson and his family on site and present him with his mug.
“His design looks great made up and forms part of our 80th anniversary merchandise range in the Safari Shop.”
Visitors can snap up the mug priced £5.99, but be quick, as they’re limited edition!
