Well done, students!

Two DZG students have passed their First Year exams with flying colours.

DZG-study-web   Neil Flockhart received 10 distinctions while Cerys Grove gained six distinctions, one merit and three passes in the Diploma in the Management  of Zoo and Aquarium Animals national tests.   Both students – pictured above – have also successfully completed all their coursework and started work on Year 2.

DZG Registrar and Research Co-ordinator, Dr David Beeston, who is also Regional Co-ordinator for the course said: “We were all very pleased for Neil and Cerys and hopefully both will go on to achieve similar success in the second year of their studies.

“At DZG we take the training of our staff very seriously and this particular qualification is now the industry standard for the training of zoo keepers.”
