Well done, Rachel!

We’re sending congratulations to Media and Communications Officer, Rachel Hickman, who has been named our Employee of the Month!

Rachel was nominated by Zoo Director Derek Grove for her work in helping co-ordinate a number of written animal assignments and received a certificate and gift voucher from the zoo’s Management Team in thanks.

Derek said: “Rachel used her talent for delivering stories in order to work alongside our zoo keepers to co-write a variety of animal-based projects.”

We’re also saying a big well done to Customer Services Team Members, Molly Dainton and Leo Duffus, who were both awarded this month’s notable achievements.

The in-house reward scheme was launched in 2017 to commend staff who go above and beyond each month, with colleagues able to nominate one another.
