Well done, Ian!

DZC’s newest train driver, Ian Meredith, was chuffed to be announced as this month’s Employee of the Month!

Ian, who has only been at DZC since December was nominated for the accolade by Retail Manager, Isobel Blackwell, after he stepped in and helped with essential maintenance of our popular land train, Dotto.

Isobel said: “Ian’s only been here a short time, but he’s fitted in really well and is not only helping us drive the train around site, but is also helping us out with the overall care of it too. We’re incredibly grateful for his assistance.”

He was thanked for his extra efforts by the zoo’s Management Team, who awarded him with gift vouchers and a certificate.

We’re also sending congratulations to Customer Services Team Member, Abbie Forrester, Trainee Keeper, Milly Rudge and Maintenance Operative, Lewis Bryce, who all received this month’s notable achievements.
