Introducing ring-tailed lemur twins, Icarus and Kinich.

The two-month-old boys were sexed by primate keepers this week who have named them after an ancient Greek legend and a Mayan sun god.

Upper Primates Keeper, Sam Grove, said: “The babies are doing well and are already starting to leave mum and explore their new surroundings for themselves.”

The babies, who were born on August 21, can be found in the mixed lemur enclosure in the Small Primate House, alongside mum, Phoebe, dad Frank and siblings, older brother twins Nelly and Kelly, big brother, Spock and big sister, Freya.
