Two more penguins joined our colony of Humboldts this morning all for a good cause!
Assistant Curator, Richard Brown, and three-year-old son, Archie, were putting in a bit of gentle training for our upcoming Onesie Walk and couldn’t resist trying out their new penguin outfits for size!
Richard said: “Ever since the sponsored walk was announced Archie has driven us mad to wear a onesie; he’s now got several different animal outfits and loves them all.
“Today his choice was penguins so we joined the rest of the Humboldts in Penguin Bay before a quick walk round the site to get in some practice.”
Our Onesie Walk, to raise funds for DZG’s conservation projects and to support tigers in the wild, will take place around the zoo site on Saturday, May 3.
