Twins boost Santa’s list!

Primate keepers will be leaving out two extra stockings on Christmas Eve following the birth of ring-tailed lemur twins!

The tiny babies were born to mum, Phoebe and dad, Frank on November 19 and can be found snuggling in the Small Primate House.

Upper Primates Section Leader, Pat Stevens, said: “Phoebe is a very experienced mum as this is her fifth litter, so she is coping really well with the twins.

“She is carrying them both together on her stomach at the moment so we haven’t really been able to get a good look at them or find out if they are male or female.”
