Trilobite revealed
DZG today unveils artists impressions of our proposed futuristic education and conference centre with a nod to the sites ancient history.
The Trilobite building will form a striking architectural entrance to the town offering uninterrupted views of 11th century Dudley Castle and incorporate a centre for zoology, geology and education with a link to the limestone Stores Cavern beneath the zoo site.
The £3 million centre will showcase Castle Hills unique history as part of a prehistoric seabed, educating visitors about the trilobite, also known as the Dudley Bug, while linking to DZGs animals and conservation work, and explaining how limestone and coal are key minerals to the regions industrial heritage.

He added: Its all come at a great time we will be able to incorporate the plans into our new entrance and car park and the new centre will be a natural addition to the development.
