Keepers had to carry out a little dental work on kune kune pig Bobs troublesome teeth after the huge hogs incisors became overgrown.
The large outer teeth were beginning to curl back on themselves, so keepers took the decision to cut them back before they began causing discomfort.
The farms 10 year-old pig was sedated before DZG Curator, Matt Lewis pictured above quickly got to work armed with some cheese wire to trim them.
Matt said: The procedure was very simple and only took around 30 seconds to file through the teeth using the wire.
Bob quickly recovered from the work and was soon back to wolfing down his favourite pig nuts and strawberry treats in the enclosure he shares with sister Betty.
