Tonight’s panto night!

Tonight’s the night when we head to the panto and we’re guaranteed to have a grand time!

DZG is once again sponsoring Wolverhampton Grand Theatre’s Christmas pantomime and we’ve extended an invitation to local children’s centres and charitable groups who have supported us over the past year to join us as our guests of honour for the show’s dress rehearsal.

This year the festive performance is Jack and the Beanstalk and stars Pop Idol’s, Gareth Gates in the title role, alongside actress and presenter, Lisa Riley, Doreen Tipton and The Bill’s Graham Cole, who’s playing baddie, Fleshcreep and who came on site last week to officially open our Winter Wonderland grotto.

Zoo Director Derek Grove, said: “The Grand Theatre’s pantomime is always lots of fun and we’re pleased to be continuing our partnership with them for a further two years.

“We hope our guests enjoy this evening’s show. Make sure you visit our outreach team, who will be there from 6pm with their face painting kit to kick-start the festive fun!”

   Jack and the Beanstalk runs from December 9 to January 14.
