Due to popular demand Dudley Castle will once again be turned into an open-air cinema for FOUR events this year – and tickets are now on sale and already selling fast!
Come and have the time of your lives watching Dirty Dancing and Bohemian Rhapsody as we team up with QUAD to transform the courtyard of the 11th century castle into an open-air cinema for two nights in May.
While we’ll be continuing with our popular horror classics as we once again partner with Flatpack for two nights in August to show Beetlejuice and The Blair Witch Project.
First on the bill is the biographical celebration of Queen and their lead singer Freddie Mercury, Bohemian Rhapsody, which will be screened on Friday May 17, while the following evening, Saturday May 18, we’ll be showing the classic Dirty Dancing.
And on Friday August 2 we’ll be screening Beetlejuice, while fans can watch The Blair Witch Project on Saturday August 3.
Zoo Manager, Matt Lewis, said: “Our previous open-air cinema nights have proved really popular over the last few years and we’re delighted to be able to screen extra films.
“We’re sure these two titles will prove to be huge hits, but we have limited availability, so we advise early booking to avoid disappointment.”
Both May films have a 12A certificate, while the August shows have a 15 certificate and doors open each evening at 7pm, with the films beginning at 9.30pm.
Refreshments will be available to purchase on the evening, but you’re welcome to bring your own picnic and don’t forget to bring a chair or blanket too and remember the screenings will go ahead whatever the weather!
