Toddle’s out of this world!
This years Barnardos Big Toddle at Dudley Zoo and Castle is set to be out of this world.
Under-fives are invited to become little stars next month by taking part in the UKs biggest charity fundraiser for toddlers, by completing a short sponsored walk around the courtyard of the 11th century Dudley Castle.
The event, which has a SPACE theme, will take place on Wednesday, June 11, Thursday, June 12 and Tuesday, June 17 and all participants are encouraged to dress as aliens, astronauts, stars and planets.
DZG Head of Media and Communications, Jill Hitchman, said: This will be the fifteenth year we have supported Barnardos by hosting the Midlands toddle, which last year saw more than 3,000 children take part.
The event is always hugely popular with nurseries, playgroups and parents, so make sure you sign up soon and come and have a blast with us while helping raise funds for a very worthy cause.
Money raised from the toddle helps support disadvantaged and vulnerable children throughout the UK by providing opportunities and practical support to enable them the best start in life.
Barnardo’s Community Fundraising Volunteer Manager, Midlands West, Alison Knott, said: I am delighted that once again Dudley Zoo is supporting Barnardo’s by holding a Big Toddle at the Zoo on three days in June.
“These events are always really well supported by local children and their families and we hope that this year we will see record numbers of children taking part, having fun and raising much needed funds by getting sponsored to take part in the Toddle
