Time to plant the magic beans!

We’re getting ready for a Jack and the Beanstalk-themed Santa’s Grotto this Christmas and today we’re planting the magic beans!

CAPTION: Gardener Anthony Gwilt and Presenter Becky Iwahashi plant the magic beans.

To make sure our beanstalk is strong and sturdy we’ll be sowing some very special seeds and DZG’s team of gardeners will be taking care of the precious plant over the next few weeks.

Gardener Anthony Gwilt said: “These magic beans can be a bit tricky to get started, but once they take root they just grow and grow.”

So – watch this space, and don’t forget to book your place to see Santa in his Castle Grotto this Christmas!

Santa’s Magical Winter Wonderland at DZG runs from December 5 to Christmas Eve and includes a magical train ride and show, plus a chance to see some of the rarest animals in the world – including meeting live reindeer in the courtyard of the 11th century Dudley Castle.

DZG is also sponsoring the dress rehearsal of  Jack and the Beanstalk at The Grand Theatre, Wolverhampton and we’ve got a thousand tickets to give away for the Friday, December 7 panto date!

We’re looking for community groups, schools, charities and local organisations who would like to join us.
