Time’s ticking to name triplets!

Tomorrow is the day DZG’s competition to name our three baby meerkats draws to a close.

We’ve had hundreds of suggestions already but there’s still time to take in a few more neutral names for the three-month-old trio, who have not yet been sexed.

The competition ends at midnight tomorrow and the prize for the lucky winner is a very special DZG triple meerkat adoption pack for the babies born on April 25. The unique pack includes a certificate, fact sheet, photo and zoo admission ticket.

Each person entering needs to submit three names, which would suit boys or girls, then the best ones will be selected by DZG Keepers.

Team Leader on the Ungulates Section, Jay Haywood, said: “There’s not long to go before we pick out the best names for the youngsters and we are very grateful to everyone who has put forward proposals so far.”

To enter – It’s simples! Suggestions can be posted on our Facebook page or emailed to competition@dudleyzoo.org.uk
