Ho, ho, hows that for a Christmas cracker festive cards featuring our stunning Sumatran tigers, Joao and Daseep!
The images used on the cards were taken by DZG’s Media and Comms staff and include Jason Skarratt’s shots of snowballing tigers that went global earlier this year.
DZG Head of Media and Communications Jill Hitchman, who also designed our ‘Merry Kissmas’ corporate card, said: “The cards feature beautiful images of Joao and Daseep which have been taken throughout the year.
“And it’s a ‘double give’ for buyers as they’re not only sending a fantastic Christmas card to their friends and family, but they’re also helping to support our vital ongoing conservation work with some of the world’s rarest animals.”
The cards, which cost £4.99 for a pack of 10, are on sale in the restored Tecton Safari Gift Shop, with cash raised from sales funding in-situ conservation for Sumatran tigers via 21st Century Tiger charity.
Jill added: We are very proud of the work we do to protect endangered species; DZG has an excellent conservation record for Sumatran tigers which, sadly, are critically endangered in the wild, and it’s wonderful that our Christmas campaign will help us continue those efforts.”
DZG has already donated more than £2,500 this year to 21st Century Tiger from our highly sucessful Onesie Walk and the figure will be further boosted by proceeds from sales of our 2015 calendar.
