Dudley Zoo & Castle is the trading name of Dudley & West Midlands Zoological Society Limited (DWMZS), a registered charity (no. 507221) with objectives founded in conservation and education. We care for over 150 species, many of which are threatened with extinction, and partner with a host of different organisations working to protect wildlife across the globe.
You can support wildlife conservation by leaving a legacy gift in your will, or by honouring a loved one’s memory by leaving a gift in their name.
Leave A Gift In Your Will
Leaving a gift in your will is a meaningful way to support wildlife and its conservation, ensuring that future generations continue to enjoy, and benefit from, the wonders of the natural world. Any size of gift will help us to continue our conservation and education work.
A solicitor can help you amend an existing will to include us as a beneficiary. You can leave either a fixed amount (a pecuniary legacy) or a percentage of your estate (a residual legacy). If preferred, this can directed to a particular project or cause as a wish or condition.*

Memorial Benches
For a minimum donation of £650 (inc. VAT) you can dedicate a bench in memory of a special person. A bench can provide both the perfect way to remember a loved one and a place where you can come and visit with family and friends. We will add a personalised plaque to the bench with your own special message and send you a complimentary annual passes for two admissions (for one year) so that you can visit the zoo.

In Lieu Of Flowers
Many people choose to remember a loved one by asking for donations as an alternative to sending flowers to a funeral. We will be very happy to provide you with information about Dudley Zoo & Castle and will also gratefully acknowledge any donations received. You may decide to Adopt an Animal and have a personalised message displayed at the animal enclosure with your own chosen message.
