Our two Bactrian camels have started to shed their thick winter coats in preparation for warmer days.
Charles and Jamandi are looking a little shaggy as their thick hair begins moulting off in straggly clumps to make way for their finer summer coats.
Visitors may notice female Jamandi is shedding her hair quicker than male, Charles, who will lose most of his heavy fur in the coming weeks.
But both are eagerly trying to remove the clumps by rubbing themselves up any available doorway, wall or frame!
So in a bid to ease the process keepers are giving a helping hand and are regularly grooming the pair with horse brushes, to help quickly remove some of the excess hair.
