Students’ lemurs video

When we asked Media students at Dudley College’s Evolve campus to compile footage showcasing our most endangered species we were blown away by the results.

lemur_ring_tailedStudents came up with a range of promotional videos highlighting conservation work and experiences at DZG on feathered and furry species and it was a hard decision to pick four winners.   Head of Media and Communications, Jill Hitchman said: “We started the project last year and it was so successful we ran it over into a second course.   “The brief for film makers was to provide a promotional video for our website highlighting experiences and species within the animal collection – and they certainly didn’t disappoint.”   Winners:?Oliver Farlow and Katie Griffiths for their video on African hunting dogs, Brennon Webb and Reece Neill for footage based in Lemur Wood, Bruna Barbosa and Josh Noon for coverage of Rothschild’s giraffes and Alice Cornes and Jessica Cooper for their filming of Humboldt penguins.
