Students’ giraffe video

A series of short videos by Media students at Dudley College’s Evolve showcases DZG’s most endangered species and highlights our vital conservation work.

dzg_giraffe_webb_xThe promotional videos were compiled by students working in small groups throughout the year-long project and cover a range of endangered animals.

Head of Media and Communications, Jill Hitchman said:?”This is the second year we have run the media project with Evolve and the brief for film makers was to provide a promotional video for our website highlighting experiences and species within the animal collection.   “We loved the results and had a tough time deciding on the winners; we hope visitors to our website enjoy the students’ work.”

WINNERS: Oliver Farlow and Katie Griffiths for their video on African hunting dogs, Brennon Webb and Reece Neill for footage based in Lemur Wood, Bruna Barbosa and Josh Noon for coverage of Rothschild’s giraffes and Alice Cornes and Jessica Cooper for their filming of Humboldt penguins.
