Still time to see Santa
Santa has already greeted hundreds of visitors to his glittering grotto at Dudley Zoo but it’s not too late to whisper your wish-list in his ear.
The grotto, opened by Sooty who is starring in Wolverhampton’s Grand Theatre’s panto Sleeping Beauty, runs until Christmas Eve so there’s still time to book a place.
And the trip to see Santa includes admission to the zoo so visitors can spend the rest of the day exploring our collection of rare and exotic animals.
The beautiful grotto is set inside the 11th century Dudley Castle, as our video shows, and a few of our reindeer will be outside too.
Marketing Manager Andrea Hales said: “It’s not too late to come and visit Father Christmas at the zoo and add some extra magic to the build-up to the big day.”
Dudley Zoo is delighted to be the panto’s local partner for another year and was excited to have Sooty and his right hand man Richard Cadell to officially cut the ribbon and declare the grotto open.
