So good they did it twice!

A couple from Wales loved being DZG keepers so much they came back to do it all over again!

Ian and Emily Bristow (pictured above), from Newport, first came in 2013 when Emily bought the keeper experience for her husband’s birthday.

And they’ve just returned after being given the joint treat for Christmas.

Emily said: “It was just an amazing day the first time that we wanted to come back.

“Once again we spent the whole day going around all the different animal groups and it was such a personal experience.

“This time we got to feed the tigers and the young female orang utan Sprout even blew Ian a kiss.

“I especially loved the tapirs. They rolled over after having their chins rubbed so we ended up seeing a lot of their bellies!”

Emily praised DZG staff for making the day so special.

“The keepers were so passionate about their work and that really came across. It was wonderful to see and made the day so enjoyable.”

DZG Chief Executive Peter Suddock said: “Ian and Emily had another amazing day with us and it’s tremendous they came back after enjoying the experience so much.”
