Our two meerkats in DZG’s Monkey Tails walkthrough exhibit were spotted snoozing in some unusual positions after a busy half-term week.
Lower Primates Keeper Jade Reddall caught five-year-old brothers Lucky and Marvin taking a mid-day nap and couldn’t believe the strange poses they were adopting.
She said: “I was amazed to see the boys dosing in such weird positions, but they must have been comfortable. They certainly enjoyed the rest after a hectic half-term.
“The brothers love getting lots of visitors but definitely made the most of some time to relax after the holiday rush.”
