Sloth souvenirs
Visitors are eager to take home a souvenir of Reggie, our new two-toed sloth, with merchandise flying off the Safari Shop shelves.
Since the arrival of the three-year-old last week, DZG visitors have been bagging themselves sloth souvenirs with cuddly sloth toys and magnets proving the weekend’s top sellers.
Retail Manager Isobel Blackwell said: “We have a huge range of lovely animal cuddly toys in the shop for the majority of species we have on site, but our new sloth range was definitely the weekend’s winner and we’ve made sure we have enough in stock to cope with the forthcoming summer holiday demand.”
Items available in the Safari Shop include a range of cuddly toys, from a mini £4.99 version through to a £17.99 plush, plus an acrylic Reggie magnet for £2 and sloth stationery priced from £2.99.
But that’s not all – as sloth fans can now adopt Reggie!
From just £39.50, adopters receive a certificate, animal fact sheet and photograph, an admission ticket and ZooNooz magazine, with all money raised through the sales supporting DZG’s animal conservation work.
