We’re seeing the first signs of spring here at DZG with beautiful blooming snowdrops.
Impressive carpets of the delicate white flowers are popping up across the wooded hillside and in animal enclosures around our picturesque 40-acre site.
You’ll be able to enjoy the flowers for the next few weeks if you’re planning a visit to the zoo, as they typically last until mid-March time, but our gardeners are already busy preparing the site ready for the new season,
They’ll be working hard over the next few weeks to make sure the borders, enclosures and public spaces around the zoo are looking lovely.
Say hello to them the next time you’re passing!
