The trio are in the UK to visit various zoos to see how other attractions operate and to get ideas which they could take home to their wildlife park which has drive-through and walk-through zones covering four continents as well as a petting zoo.
They were given a tour of DZG by Curator Richard Brown to explore our exotic and endangered animals, the ruins of the 11th century Dudley Castle, our 12 Modernist buildings the world’s largest single collection of Tecton structures and the country’s only vintage chairlift!
Derek said: “It is always nice to meet people from other zoos and to share ideas and we hope they have an interesting week visiting Dudley and the other six animal attractions on their list.”
After yesterday’s visit to DZG the three are moving on to Welsh Mountain Zoo, Chester Zoo, Knowsley Safari Park, Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Twycross Zoo and finally West Midland Safari Park before flying home.
