Saving hedgehogs!

We need your help in our bid to protect one of the UK’s most beloved wild mammals – the hedgehog!

Did you know here in the UK the European hedgehog population has declined by over 50 per cent, largely due to habitat loss and fragmentation.

Here at DZC we want to do something to help them – and to do that, we need YOUR support!

In partnership with Hartpury University in Gloucestershire, we want to collect evidence through a camera trap monitoring project, about how Britain’s only spiky mammal use urban green spaces in the Black Country – particularly churchyards.

And to enable us to do that, we’re taking part in a nationwide match-funding campaign next week which means every donation made through our Big Give Earth Raise campaign link during this time will be DOUBLED!
