Santa’s a wanted man!

Dudley Zoo has pinned up wanted posters in its search for a Santa to join its Christmas grotto.

DZG is offering plenty of good cheer as a reward for finding the right recruit to appear in its busy Winter Wonderland grotto at the heart of the 11^th century Dudley Castle.

Marketing Manager Andrea Hales said: “We may only be in sunny June but we are launching a summer search for Santa to join our hugely popular grotto.

“We’re looking for a friendly Santa with a great sense of humour, who enjoys working with small children. 

“We’ll supply the uniform but it would be wonderful if he has his own white beard.

“And because we’re kicking off our search so early, candidates will have plenty of time to grow a beard before the Christmas duties begin!”

Andrea added the grotto was especially popular with groups and school parties and said weekends were particularly busy.

Santa’s festive run starts on December 1 to December 24 inclusive.
