Sam scoops title!
Well done to Senior Keeper, Sam Grove, who’s our employee of the month!
Sam, who works with our big cats, ungulates and reptiles, was nominated by colleagues for his commitment and dedication to DZG.
Curator Richard Brown, said: “Sam was chosen as this month’s winner because he puts so much time and effort into completing animal projects and is always willing to come in and work on his days off.
“Recently Sam has helped design and build the new wooden platform in the tiger enclosure, working late into the evening for many nights so that it didn’t have much impact on the tigers’ daily routine.
“He has also travelled to various animal collections around the country on his days off to collect new stock for us, which really helps us out.”
