A cheeky robin has taken up residence at DZG.
The wild bird has quite a distinctive appearance as he is featherless around his eyes and has a few sparse tufts on the top of his head.
The cheeky chirper has visited the keepers’ hut in Lemur Wood every day for the last two years and always helps himself to a few treats while there.
Curator, Matt Lewis said: “He is definitely not shy and is quite a character and is very recognisable because of his strange appearance.
“Whenever the door is open he usually hops inside and tucks into the animal food.”
