Right royal party!
Under-fives are cordially invited to a royal party in the castle courtyard next month.
And we’re encouraging little ones to dress as Kings, Queens, Princes or Princesses to join us for our Platinum Jubilee themed celebrations on Wednesday, June 29 and Thursday, June 30.
The event, designed especially with our younger visitors in mind, will include entertainment by Flip the clown, animal encounters with some of our smaller furry friends, face painting and Jubilee-themed craft activities.
There’ll also be the chance to meet DZC’s costumed mascots Jambi and Monty and remember to bring your bucket and spades for some fun on ‘Ow Bin Ya’ Sands’.
Plus, don’t forget to spot all our adorable new zoo babies across the 40-acre site too!
Tickets are now on sale – it’s just £7.50 for adults and £7.50 for children aged between two and five and zoo admission is included!
