Visitors will be able to get a better look at our red pandas after keepers thinned greenery in their paddock.
Assistant Curator, Richard Brown, said: “We decided to thin out some of the trees so visitors can spot Yasmin and Yang easier when they are high up in the trees.”
The cut branches weren’t put to waste as they became tasty treats for some of the section’s other animals including Barbary sheep, Brazilian tapirs and Rothschild giraffes.
Yasmin enjoys her favourite snack . . . with a clear view to the visitors!
