Hi, my name is Yasmin and I am a female Red Panda. Like the Giant Panda, we have a “false thumb” that is an extension of the wrist bone. When descending a tree headfirst, we rotate our ankle to control our descent, we are one of the few climbing animals to do this. I am a very girly panda with a pretty face.
