Hi, my name is Carko and I am a male Red Panda. I live here with my girlfriend called Ember! Like the Giant Panda, we have a “false thumb” that is an extension of the wrist bone. When descending a tree headfirst, we rotate our ankle to control our descent, we are one of the few climbing animals to do this.
