Where to eat
Dudley Zoo & Castle are proudly working with Amadeus to provide each and every visitor with a food and drink experience during their day out at the zoo.
From start to finish, we have a variety of outlets to choose from so whenever your stomach starts growling, we’ll have something to go ape over.
The Oak Kitchen at The Queen Mary Restaurant
Location: at the top of the zoo opposite the Sea Lion pool
The Oak Kitchen at The Queen Mary Restaurant is the ideal place to stop for breakfast, morning coffee, lunch, afternoon treats, ice creams and loads more. There is plenty of seating indoors, but you can enjoy dining under the watchful eyes of our wandering peacocks on the lawn outside the restaurant too.
Highchairs, bottle warming, and microwave facilities are available for visitor use.
Open daily from 10am all year round until 90 minutes before the zoo closes.
The Watering Hole
Location: outside the Safari Gift Shop
Start your journey at The Watering Hole with its menu of hot food, sandwiches, snacks, and wide range of hot and cold drinks. After a full day of roaming the zoo, you can rest your paws out front in the seating area.
The Courtyard Cafe
Location: in the grounds of the 11th Century Castle
This quaint little café is the perfect pitstop with stunning views of Dudley Castle. Enjoy a selection of light bites and sweet treats such as sausage rolls, pasties and our delicious Cream Tea, along with a wide choice of hot and cold drinks to keep you going whatever the weather. As our café is fully licensed, you can also enjoy a selection of alcoholic drinks!
Kiosks
The Made kiosk is located just outside the bird aviaries, serving snacks, ice cream and drinks.
Carte D’or is perfectly place just outside of the beach so you can enjoy an icy sweet treat in the sunshine, along with a wide range of cold drinks.
The Sea Lion Kiosk sits just next to The Oak Kitchen and offers delicious ice creams, cold drinks, and a selection of snacks.
Opening times of the Courtyard Cafe & Kiosks vary throughout the year and are open mainly during the Summer and School Holiday periods (weather permitting).
