Are the Land Train and Fair on today?

We do not operate all of our Customer Service facilities everyday particularly during low season, please call 01384 215313 to check availability of service before you visit.

Do you have a cash machine?

We do not have a cash machine on site.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes all major cards accepted except American Express. Contactless payments can be made in our Safari Gift Shop.

Do you have baby changing facilities?

Yes, all toilets contain baby changing facilities and there is a microwave available for visitors use in the main restaurant for the purpose of heating up baby food.

Please use nappy bags for disposal of nappies due to hygiene.

Do you have a Changing Places toilet?

We’re pleased to be able to provide a fully accessible Changing Places Toilet facility on-site for visitors with complex care needs.

The new facility is clearly signposted from the zoo entrance and on maps and can be found on the lower site, in the toilet block by Lorikeet Lookout.

Accessible with a radar key, the toilet includes specialist equipment such as a height-adjustable sink, a ceiling hoist for personal slings, an adjustable full-sized changing bed, a shower and privacy screen.

Do you have lockers?

No, but you are welcome to obtain a pass out to return to your vehicle at any time.

What if I require a first aider?

We have fully trained First Aid staff on site. If you require assistance please report to the Queen Mary Restaurant or Safari Gift Shop or alternatively speak to the nearest member of Zoo staff.

Is there a Dress Code?

As we are an outdoor attraction, please ensure that your clothing is appropriate for the time of year and the current weather.  As the site is based on a hill, appropriate flat shoes are a must!
