Ahoy there! There’s still time to sign up for DZG’s under-fives Pirates and Fairies Picnic Party.
Taking place on Wednesday, June 19 and Thursday 20, the event has been designed with little ones in mind. So make up a picnic, grab your pirate patches and fairy wings and come and meet DZG’s tiger mascot, Jambi, as well as getting up close to favourite furry friends in animal encounters, feeds and talks.
Entertainment includes puppet shows, magic acts, bouncy castle, balloon modelling, a pirates and princess show and storytelling.
Youngsters can also be transformed into their favourite zoo animal with the help of our face painters and the highlight will be a fancy dress parade in the castle courtyard, when the little Pirates and Fairies will be invited to show-off their colourful costumes with medals available for all participants. DZG Marketing Manager, Julia Lockett, said: “There is still time to book your places at the under-fives Pirates and Fairies Picnic Party. There is plenty going on for a day of family fun.” Advance tickets, priced from £3.50 are now available. Tickets will also be available on the day priced £5.50 for children aged 2-5 and £5.50 per adult. To book tickets call 0844 474 2272.
