Paying tribute

We’re set to help pay tribute to the heroes of war with a cascade of poppies down Dudley Castle.

The poignant memorial is being led by local community group Dudley Remembers, who are inviting people to sponsor an all-weather poppy in support of the 100^th anniversary of the Royal British Legion.

We’ll be installing a cargo net filled with poppies on November 4, which will flow down the side of the 11^th century castle for the majority of the month and will hopefully be seen for miles around.

Poppies can be sponsored for a minimum £3 donation to RBL’s Poppy Appeal, at Black Country Tee Shirts in Castle Street, Dudley or at the Black Country Hub at Merry Hill.
