A group of inquisitive ring-tailed lemurs joined staff in saying thank you to a generous Lye company which has donated thousands of party bags to DZG.
Managing director of Polymac Packaging, Malcolm Lycett, and sales director, Lyn Curtis, delivered 2,500 surplus animal-themed plastic party bags to the zoo to be used for children’s birthday parties.
Lyn said: “The bags were surplus stock but we didn’t want to see them go to waste and are really pleased they will be of use to DZG.”
DZG Visitor Service Manager, Adrian Pace pictured with Malcolm Lycett said: “It is really kind of Polymac Packaging to think of us and donate the bags which will certainly be put to good use in birthday parties for our younger visitors.
“As a charity this donation will save us funds which can be re-channelled into looking after the animals.”
