Father Christmas was on site yesterday afternoon completing final checks on his Sleeping Beauty themed-Magical Christmas Castle grotto and he’s delighted that it’s almost ready for visitors!
And Santa was thrilled to discover it’s being officially opened by the stars of Wolverhampton Grand Theatre’s pantomime on Tuesday morning!
Former Coronation Street star, Lucy Evans, who plays Princess Beauty and West End actor, Oliver Watton, who is playing Prince Daniel in the Christmas show, will be visiting DZG at 10am on December 3 to welcome Santa and greet his first young visitors.
DZG Head of Marketing, Julia Lockett, said: “We are delighted Lucy and Oliver will be joining us at the opening of Santa’s grotto this year.
“Our elves have been working their magic to transform the 11th century castle into Sleeping Beauty’s wonderland and thankfully Santa is happy with their work and is looking forward to meeting lots of children to DZG’s grotto over the coming weeks.”
