We had a fantastic time on Friday with DZG’s one thousand lucky panto ticket holders.
We gave away free tickets to local charities, schools, clubs and organisations to join us as our VIP guests for the DZG sponsored-dress rehearsal of Sleeping Beauty at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre.
And a great night was had by all!
As well as watching the pantomime, which features funnyman Joe Pasquale as Muddles, former Coronation Street star, Lucy Evans as Princess Beauty, West End star Oliver Watton as Prince Daniel and cabaret artist Ceri Dupree as Queen Passionella, our visitors were also transformed into their favourite animals by DZG’s face painters and even got the chance to meet some of our small animals including Lucy Evans’ favourite DZG owl, Echo!
DZG CEO Peter Suddock, said: “We are delighted to team up with a premier theatre that’s on our doorstep and we hope everyone enjoyed the show as much as we did.
“There is also still time to book into DZG’s Sleeping Beauty-themed Santa’s grotto in the 11th century Dudley Castle so we hope to see some familiar faces on site over the next few weeks.”
