Israeali holidaymakers Cai Chenghong and Maria Zimovich found time from their busy itinerary to fulfil a lifetime’s ambition to feed red pandas.
Cai and Maria, from Israel, joined Yang, Yasmin and baby Jasper in the enclosure for a special Close Encounter experience with their favourite species.
YOU could feed red pandas giraffes, a big cat we’ve got lions, tigers and snow leopards or maybe a penguin or cheeky lemur! Just follow this link
TURKISH DELEGATES DROP IN
DZG played host to a group of Turkish delegates who called on site to learn about our exciting new partnership with Dudley College’s Evolve students.
The visit offered an opportunity for the Director of Education at Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, along with trainers and project managers, to learn about the project between DZG’s Media and Communications Department and Evolve’s Photographic and Graphic Design students, before taking in a tour of the site.
Head of Media and Communications, Jill Hitchman, said: “Through an interpreter the Turkish visitors learned about the pioneering programme between DZG and Evolve students which will culminate in a series of conservation posters and videos.
“They seemed very interested in the project and were most complimentary about the site, particularly the birds of prey display in the courtyard of Dudley Castle.”
