Two Asiatic short-clawed otters are testing World Cup tactics with a quick kickabout in their rainforest enclosure.
Judy and Jack have been entertaining themselves and visitors alike after keepers added a plastic ball to their Monkey Tails walkthrough exhibit.
Lower Primates Trainee Keeper, Jade Reddall, said: “Otters are inquisitive and will make up games with just about anything they can get their paws on, so we gave them a ball to see what they’d do and they loved it
“They rolled it across the ground, up the window panes, juggled and even swam with it”
She added: “They had great fun and were literally squealing with delight all day as they played.”
