Otter-ly good fun!

Otters Jude and Jack had a ball when keepers encouraged them to play with their food!

Trainee Keeper Jade Reddall filled a ball with sprats encouraging the playful pair to use their paws and mouths to fish the food out through holes around the sphere.

Jade said: “Rather than just giving them their food on a plate, we thought we would make it a bit more fun for them.

“Their paws are very dexterous and they were able to get the sprats out through the holes in the ball.

“They had to work harder to get the treats but they certainly enjoyed them.”

The mischievous two also enjoyed playing with a golf ball keepers bounced into their enclosure and showed off their impressive catching skills to visitors.
