There’s now one-sie week to go until our big fundraiser in aid of DZ’s snow leopards!
The route’s been planned and we’re getting our onesie’s out ready for Saturday when hundreds of people are expected to turn out to help us raise funds to extend the big cat enclosure.
DZ Marketing Manager, Andrea Hales, said: “We’re all looking forward to the Onesie Walk which has become a really fun day out.
“We can’t wait to welcome everyone on site and to see everyone’s colourful onesies or fancy dress outfits, while helping us raise money to extend the snow leopard enclosure.”
And there’s still plenty of time to sign up for the 5km sponsored walk around the zoo’s 40-acre site.

The Onesie Walk will start at 11am and registration costs £6 per adult and £3 per child (3-15 years) which includes zoo admission.
Up to four spectators per participant will be admitted at a discounted rate of £6 per person (adult, child or concession). These need to be purchased prior to the date.
And we’re also offering a big cat encounter with Margaash, Nanga and Makalu to help boost the appeal funds.
Following the popularity of our recent tapir experience raffle for World Tapir Day, keepers will be selling tickets throughout the Saturday for the encounter, which they’ll be drawing at the end of the day.
All money raised through the raffle will be added to the overall fundraiser total.
See you next week, guys!
