Nice one, Nathaniel!
We’re saying well done to Customer Services Team Member, Nathaniel Buffery, who has been awarded Employee of the Month.
Nathaniel, who is one of our seasonal members of staff, was nominated for the accolade by Retail Manager Isobel Blackwell and Zoo Manager Matt Lewis, after impressing bosses with the way he deals with first aid incidents out on site in a calm, collected and reassuring manner.
DZC regularly holds first aid training and refresher sessions for staff to protect the well-being of all our zoo visitors.
Notable achievement awards were also handed to our carnivore team, Adam Walker, Ed Dolphin, Cheyenne Darkins, Louisa Dorrington and Anthony Wingfield for their hard work in preparing the enclosure ahead of the arrival of wolverine, Helga.
