A brand new postcode is helping visitors reach their DZG destination.
Our new car and coach parking facilities off Tipton Road, built as part of a £4.5million West Midlands European Regional Development Fund investment into Castle Hill, are now open for use and have been given a separate postcode from the rest of the site DY1 4SQ.
DZG CEO Peter Suddock, said: “The new postcode went live this week and covers the new car park and zoo deliveries entrance only. The postcode for the zoo offices remains as before.
“Visitors should make sure they enter the car park postcode into their sat nav systems, which will bring them onto a newly built road off the A4037 Tipton Road and straight through to our new extended parking facilities.”
Once visitors have parked their vehicles they can now also access the zoo site through the newly opened shop entrance, directly from the car park.
Mr Suddock, added: “We opened the new entrance this week and it has already proved to be a huge success.
“But it’s not just visitors we need to make aware of the new car park postcode, as daily deliveries for our food stores will also need it, as well as all animal cargo to boost our growing zoo collection and we certainly wouldn’t want those important deliveries getting lost on-route.”
