NE Wolverhampton Academy visits

We’ve welcomed more than 550 students from North East Wolverhampton Academy to DZG this week.

Pupils from Years 7, 9, 10 and 11 joined a variety of educational workshops with our Presenters including Horrible History, Rainforest Explorers and Behaviour and Enrichment.

Presenters held four sessions each day for various year groups and introduced pupils to a range of creatures from the Discovery Centre which link in with the different workshops, including rats, snakes, cockroaches and blue and gold macaw, Charlie – who proved to be a firm favourite with students and staff!

Pictured right: Presenter Pam Midwood introduces blue and gold macaw, Charlie to one of the Year 9 Rainforest Explorer sessions, as she explained all about the different layers of a rainforest and the animals who live there.
