DZG’s young visitors have the chance to win an adoption of giant rabbit, Maisie, this Easter – how egg-citing!
Visit the farm barn and get crafty with our holiday colouring competition, as a year-long adoption for the beautiful bunny – who tips the scales at a whopping 14Ibs – is up for grabs!
Marketing Manager, Andrea Hales, said: “There’s plenty going on to make sure all the family has a cracking time with us over the Easter break.
“As well as our daily talks and feeds, where visitors can learn more about some of the rarest animals in the world including tigers, penguins, giraffes and sealions and hear about our important conservation work, there’s also the chance to hunt out the Easter bunny with our trail around the zoo, so keep your eyes peeled!
“Plus we’ll be giving out free chocolate from Good Friday through to Easter Day too!”
Elsewhere across the 40-acre site visitors can meet and greet goats, guinea pigs and geese down on the farm, while there’s further colouring fun in the Oak Kitchen at the Queen Mary, where youngsters can design an Easter Egg as mum and dad tuck into some Easter-themed snacks.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
