We’re wishing our youngest snow leopard, Makalu, a very happy second birthday today!
Big cat keepers treated the birthday boy to an enrichment box packed full of goodies to send his senses really wild!
Senior Keeper, Sarah Evans, pictured above, said: “Makalu is definitely a firm favourite with staff and visitors, who have watched him grow over the last two years.
“He’s very cheeky and mischievous and loves playing, especially if he can entice mum, Nanga and dad, Margaash into his games too!
“So for his special day we’ve made him up an enrichment box bursting with all kinds of smells from various animal bedding and pieces of his all-time favourite treat of quail!”
