Magical time for princesses and pirates

Hundreds of princesses and pirates took over Dudley Castle courtyard for our annual under-fives fun days.

More than 800 youngsters and their families gathered in the courtyard for our Princess and Pirates under-fives Picnic Party yesterday and a similar number were getting in the party mood today.

webdzg_under5s_day_13Storytelling, magic shows, a bouncy castle, animal encounters, balloon modelling and face painting provided heaps of entertainment during the two days.

DZG Marketing Manager Andrea Hales said: “It has been wonderful to see the courtyard filled with under-fives.

“There was a great party atmosphere and the little ones had some really impressive costumes for the fancy dress parade.

“Thanks to everyone who joined in the fun yesterday and we hope everyone has a marvellous time today.”

Youngsters also had chance to meet DZG’s tiger mascot, Jambi (pictured left), as well as getting up close to furry friends in animal encounters with Presentation Assistant Amy Hickman, pictured below.
